'Dhurandhar' singer Jasmine Sandlas faces severe backlash for being 3 hours late to Hyderabad concert: 'Then I came and lip-sync'd at a live show'

Punjabi singer Yasmin Sandlas has come under fire after several attendees at her concert in Hyderabad claimed that the event was poorly managed and failed to meet expectations. Jasmine, who recently sang a number of songs for ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, performed at Quake Arena in Hyderabad on June 27.

However, many concert-goers claimed that she arrived nearly three hours late and allegedly lip-synced during her performance.Aside from criticizing the singer, attendees also blamed the event organizers for mismanagement, lack of communication and long delays. Many social media users even described the event as a “new way to scam people.”

One attendee, Instagram user Abhiruchi Gupta, shared a detailed post expressing her disappointment.

She described herself as a fan of Yasmine Sandlas, and said the concert was a frustrating experience.“The show was supposed to start at 8pm @jasminesandlas, you showed up at 11:20 with no acknowledgment or apology at all?? Three hours late!!! And then you come in and lip sync, literally what, at a live show??? And then suddenly leave at the end, with no thanks or sorry or anything at all!!” I wrote. She also added that she would never recommend Yasmine’s concerts to anyone, calling it a “very bad experience” and “my worst live performance experience.”

Many others who claimed to have attended the party quickly shared similar experiences in the comments.

One user wrote, “Terrible experience! We waited from 8 to 11.30 and then left as we had a long way back. There was no sign of a delay. Administrative staff are the worst, with a rude attitude. People should be warned that earthquake events are scams of the worst kind.”Another commented: “Indeed, a very bad experience and pathetic management!”A third user claimed: “Every show @quakearenahyd starts 3 hours late.

Every FU****G demo in Quake. “I’m so glad I got through this even when I wanted to be so bad.”One attendee simply described it as “a very failed show.”The incident sparked conversations online about the importance of punctuality at live events, better communication with audiences, and organizers’ responsibility to handle delays professionally. Many felt that if there was a real reason for the delay, attendees should be notified in advance. So far, neither Yasmin Sandellas nor the organizers of the Hyderabad concert have responded publicly to the accusations. For now, the allegations are based on social media posts shared by people who say they attended the event.Yasmin Sandlas is known for her famous Punjabi songs and has also sung many Bollywood tracks. However, the backlash surrounding her concert in Hyderabad left many fans searching for an explanation from the singer and the event organizers.
