The family of actor and politician Khushboo Sundar has a new reason to celebrate. Her eldest daughter Avantika Sundar married Shravan Srinivasan in an intimate wedding ceremony held in Goa on Thursday evening.

The special occasion was attended by family members and a close-knit circle of friends from the Hindi film industry.In a happy announcement on social media, Khushboo shared the first pictures from the wedding with an emotional note, saying the family was “speechless” as they watched their daughter start a new chapter.

The wedding photos captured several touching moments from the ceremony. One of the pictures showed Avantika and Shravan holding hands in traditional silk attire, while another monochrome picture showed the groom kissing his bride on the forehead after the rituals. Khushboo also posted a family picture with husband and director Sundar C, his younger daughter Anandita, the newlyweds and their pet. While Avantika opted for a pastel pink ensemble for the party, Shravan and the rest of the family wore coordinated gold outfits.

Khushboo writes an emotional letter

Sharing the news, Khushboo wrote that the occasion was filled with gratitude and overwhelming emotions.“We are truly speechless at this moment, because words seem insufficient to express the feelings we are experiencing,” she wrote.The actor added that family has always been central to their lives and that they have long believed that “marriages are made in heaven.”Announcing the wedding, she wrote: “It is with great joy and gratitude that we, Sundar C and Kushboo Sundar, are delighted to share the wonderful news that our beloved daughter, Mrs.

Avantika Sundar, married to Mr. Shravan Srinivasan on June 25, 2026.”Commenting on the ceremony, she said: “Surrounded by the love of family and close friends, we witnessed a moment that will remain etched in our hearts forever. The warmth, affection and goodwill that enveloped us made this occasion truly magical. Our eyes are still moist, and our hearts are overflowing with happiness and gratitude.”Khushboo revealed that the wedding was deliberately kept intimate, in keeping with the couple’s wishes.“It was a small, intimate celebration, just as the couple had envisioned it, and we were honored to honor their wishes. Sometimes, the most beautiful moments are the ones we quietly share with the people who matter most,” she wrote, while thanking the team behind the celebrations.She concluded the note by introducing the newly married couple to her followers and asking for everyone’s blessings as they begin their journey together.“As Avantika and Shravan embark on this wonderful new chapter together, all we seek is your love and good wishes for a life filled with happiness, companionship and countless cherished memories. With immense love and pride, we present to you the newly married couple – Avantika and Shravan.”

A star-studded guest list

Although the wedding was private, it witnessed the presence of many prominent figures in the entertainment industry.

Trisha Krishnan, a close friend of Khushboo, attended the event along with guests from the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries.Among those present were Telugu stars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna who attended with their wives. Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor were also seen at the celebrations.Khushboo also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and actor-politician Vijay to the wedding. However, the three personalities were unable to attend the ceremony.
