Vijayalakshmi Darshan, wife of jailed Kannada star Darshan Thojodipa, has issued a detailed statement denying social media rumors claiming that their son, Vignesh, was hospitalized after a major car accident in Bengaluru.

Explaining the incident at Rajarajeshwari Nagar involving their Ford Endeavour, Vijayalakshmi maintained that Vineesh was completely safe, was not behind the wheel, and only went out to check a two-wheeler after a minor traffic collision. With the family already under intense public scrutiny, Bengaluru Police also stepped in to ensure that no formal case or complaint was registered regarding the minor road accident.

A simple road accident sparked rumors

The speculation reportedly started after a minor collision occurred between a Ford Endeavour, linked to Vignesh, in Bengaluru. It was said that the car was involved in a minor traffic accident with a motorcycle. As videos and allegations related to the incident spread online, confusion about Fenech’s role in the incident increased.

She explained in the statement that Fenech was not injured and was not driving the car when the accident occurred. She said: “We would like to clarify that the news circulated by some media outlets claiming that Fenesh was involved in an accident and was taken to the hospital is completely false news.
