The cast of the ABC drama series revenge (2011-2015) and My so-called life (2004-2005) will reunite for Televerse, the Television Academy’s celebration of all things television, Hollywood Reporter I’ve learned. This year’s Televerse will be held August 14-16 at the JW Marriott at LA Live.

Allen, and Connor Paolo will all appear on a panel to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the debut of their hit show, a modern reimagining of their iconic series. panel about My so-called lifea short-lived but high-impact show about the inner life of a 15-year-old in suburban Pittsburgh, is currently set to star Bess Armstrong, Wilson Cruz, Devon Gomersall, AJ Langer, and Devon Odessa, as well as co-executive producer/director Scott Winant.
There will also be two themed panels, “Creating the Sound of the Show,” which will focus on composition and songwriting across genres, and “Stumbling in the Night: A Conversation with Horror Show Pioneers,” about horror films from the past and present.
Confirmed panelists for the first include Rachel Bloom (co-creator/co-showrunner/writer/actor, His crazy ex-girlfriend), Chris Powers (composer, Spider Noir, Bridgerton and When they see us), Sherry Chung (composer, Based on a true story, Found and Riverdale) and David Fleming (composer, Widow’s Bay, The last of us and Mr. and Mrs. Smith).
For the latter, panelists will include Haley Z. Boston (creator/showrunner/executive producer, Something very bad will happen), Chris Cantwell (co-showrunner/executive producer, Horror: Devil in Silver) and Victor Laval (co-showrunner/executive producer, Horror: Devil in Silver).
Previously announced programs for this year’s Televerse include a 25th anniversary reunion of talent from Band of brothers; Acting class led by TV legend Henry Winkler; Painting entitled “Star Trek and the Evolution of Visual Effects and Virtual Production,” and a “scene-by-scene” lecture led by Emmy Award-winning director/producer Paris Barclay.
More programs will be announced before the festival.
