Weekend Watchlist: ‘House of the Dragon’, ‘I Will Find You’ and More New Dramas You Can Stream Now

Cancel your plans. This weekend’s streaming lineup is one of the strongest in recent memory, with a Targaryen civil war finally breaking out, a thriller about Harlan Coben’s prison break, a luxury Spanish resort mystery, and enough drama to keep you busy through Sunday night. Here’s everything dropping this week and exactly where to find it.

2/9

“House of the Dragon” – Season 3

Season 3 of House of the Dragon dives straight into the heart of the Targaryen Civil War, covering the events of George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood, beginning with the dramatic Battle of the Gaul. Major events including the Fall of King’s Landing and the First Battle of Tumbleton are all coming this season, as Emma Darcy, Olivia Cooke and Matt Smith lead the returning cast through the most exciting chapter in the saga yet. New episodes are released every Monday on JioHotstar, so the best time to start is now.

3/9

“I will find you”

Based on Harlan Coben’s 2023 novel, I Will Find You follows David Burroughs, wrongly imprisoned for killing his son, who five years later receives information suggesting his son may still be alive, sending him on a desperate prison escape to find the truth. Sam Worthington leads the cast alongside Brett Lauer, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, and Chi McBride in an eight-episode thriller where each twist is more difficult than the last. All episodes were released at once on Netflix on June 18, which means the whole party is waiting for you this weekend.

4/9

“Your mistake: London”

The sequel to My Fault: London sees Asha Banks and Matthew Broom reprise their roles as Noah and Nick, now facing the ultimate test of their relationship as Noah heads to Oxford while Nick remains in London consumed by the demands of his father’s business. New characters enter their lives, with Louisa Pinder playing Sophia, an ambitious woman who sets her sights on Nick, and Joel Nankervis as Michael, a confident Oxford student who forms an instant connection with Noah. If the first movie left you wanting more of this messy romantic mayhem, head straight to Prime Video where it’s been streaming since June 17.

5/9

“Sugar” – season two

Colin Farrell returns as famed Los Angeles private investigator John Sugar, taking on a new missing persons case in search of the older brother of an up-and-coming local boxer while continuing his personal search for his missing sister. Season 2 releases a new episode every Friday through August 7, making it the perfect weekly companion to see you through the summer on Apple TV+.

6/9

“Isabelle’s voicemails”

“Voicemails for Isabelle” follows Jill, played by Zoey Deutch, who tries to cope with the sudden loss of her sister by leaving voicemails on her number, unaware that she has been reassigned to an Austin-based real estate agent named Wes, played by Nick Robinson, who begins to fall for her through funny confessional messages. Written and directed by Leah McKendrick, the film has received huge critical acclaim and is the kind of intimate, emotionally intelligent romantic comedy perfect for a quiet Saturday evening on Netflix.

7/9

“The Oasis”

“The Oasis” is set at the country’s most luxurious resort, a paradise reserved for the wealthiest families with private beaches and impenetrable security, where everything falls apart when the police storm in to investigate a mysterious disappearance and no one is allowed to leave until the culprit is found. Written by Ramon Campos and starring Ana Garcés, Tommy Aguilera and Veronica Sanchez, the Spanish series is a stylish mystery thriller that’s as sunny and elegant as its setting, all on Netflix starting June 19.

8/9

“The Agency” – Season Two

Season 2 follows the Martian, played by Michael Fassbender, as his lover Samia is now a political prisoner in Sudan and he will do anything to save her, walking the precipice between duty, personal loyalty and outright betrayal. The season is more expansive than the first, following young agents Danny and Owen alongside Martian as a mysterious figure called Viking emerges as the season’s most dangerous antagonist. The full cast includes Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hugh Bonneville, and in a rare treat for eager viewers, all 10 episodes premiered at once on Paramount+ on June 21.

9/9

“Couples at work”

Save the Tigers returns for Season 3, following Ghanta Ravi, played by Priyadarshi, as he moves his family into a new community after the chaos of the previous season, with a new fantasy element adding an unexpected twist to the beloved marital comedy series. Priyadarshi, Abhinav Gomatam and Krishna Chaitanya are back along with Seerat Kapoor in what looks to be the most entertaining season yet, all on JioHotstar from June 19.
