Multihouse CEO Michael Tesler founded Multicon as a response to the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, where last year’s inaugural event raised more than $100,000 to support recovery efforts after just 30 days of planning. This event is organized in collaboration with the Global Entertainment Marketing Academy (GEMA).
“Our first MultiCon was a beautiful experience,” Tesler said. “In less than 30 days, we’ve mobilized fan communities, celebrities, and creatives to help our neighbors during the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Our community once again needs our help as organizations face an unprecedented $430 billion in federal funding cuts. MultiCon gives us a way to help support these organizations, all while bringing our community together for a day of fun, magic, and joy.”
This year’s Multicon will benefit Make an Impact, a non-profit organization that supports organizations focused on food security, mental health, and crisis intervention. Tickets are available here.
“Community organizations have stepped up during times of calm and crisis, ensuring neighbors have access to food, housing, and mental health support, all while facing razor-thin profit margins and federal cuts that threaten their survival,” said Tracy Donnelly, president of Make An Impact.
GEMA President Stacy La Cutera added: “Entertainment has always had the power to bring people together. MultiCon is a powerful example of what happens when fandom, creativity and purpose come together to support something bigger than ourselves.”
