Lionsgate’s next new chapter for The Blair Witch Project Makes a way towards its release.
The studio announced on Tuesday that the currently untitled film is set to hit theaters from Lionsgate on September 24, 2027. The news was shared on social media with an image that evoked the world of the franchise. Plot details and cast information have not yet been revealed.

Jason Blum and James Wan of Blumhouse Atomic Monster will serve as producers of the reboot alongside Roy Lee. Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath also produce for Divide/Conquer. Executive producing is Michael Clare and Judson Scott for Blumhouse Atomic Monster, with Alayna Glasthal supervising the company. Scott O’Brien and Pavan Kalidindi are overseeing the film for Lionsgate, while Phil Strina negotiated the deal on behalf of the studio. Stephen Schneider executive produces.
