Divina Gahlot, daughter of former Delhi minister and BJP MLA Kailash Gahlot, has emerged first in CUET-UG 2026 with a score of 1232.19, according to the list of top 20 candidates released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The list placed her at the top with the highest NTA score in the country.
Kailash Gahlot later took to social media to celebrate the achievement and congratulate his younger daughter for bagging first place in All India.

He described this achievement as a reflection of Divina’s perseverance and commitment and added: “This remarkable achievement reflects her hard work, discipline, perseverance and unwavering commitment to excellence.”
Gahlot also thanked teachers and mentors at Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, as well as his wife Moushumi and eldest daughter Jahnavi for supporting Devina during her journey.
“A note of gratitude to her teachers, mentors and the entire Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj community, for inspiring her curiosity, nurturing her potential and guiding her; and for the unwavering support of my wife, Moushumi, and constant encouragement from her elder sister, Janavi, both of whom have been her pillars of strength throughout,” he wrote.
Congratulating his daughter, Goliath said: “Watching your dreams take shape through dedication and hard work has been truly special, and we are so proud of you!”
He concluded the letter by wishing her future, saying: “I hope you continue to learn, grow, and achieve greater levels with humility and purpose.”
The National Testing Agency (NTA) said 15,68,867 unique candidates have registered for CUET-UG 2026, of which 11,64,098 appeared for the exam.
The examination was conducted between May 11 and 31, with an additional phase conducted from June 6 to 7, for admission to undergraduate programs in the 2026-27 academic session.
