An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death and thrown outside a UK hospital after being removed from the scene of the attack; 5 arrested

An 18-year-old man has died after being found with a stab wound outside Poole Hospital in Dorset during the early hours of Friday, sparking a major murder investigation and the arrest of five people.Police said the teenager was discovered in Longfleet Road, near the hospital, shortly before 2.15am. The medical staff took him inside to receive treatment, but he died of his wounds a short time later.

The victim is believed to have been attacked elsewhere

Investigators believe the teen may have been injured during an accident in Dale Close, about a mile from the hospital. According to police, he was allegedly taken by car before being left near the hospital entrance.A police cordon remains in place in Dale Close while forensic teams continue to examine the scene and collect evidence.

Three were arrested on suspicion of murder

Dorset Police have arrested three men on suspicion of murder, a 20-year-old from Poole and two Bournemouth residents aged 36 and 38.In addition, a 22-year-old man from London and another 22-year-old man from Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.The five suspects remain in police custody while investigators continue their investigations.

Police are appealing for CCTV and Dashcam footage

Detective Inspector Neil Third said officers informed the victim’s family of the developments and expressed their condolences to them.“We do not underestimate the concern and upset that an incident of this kind could occur in the community,” he said, adding that police moved quickly to arrest the people and move forward with the investigation.Authorities are urging anyone who was in the Dale Close or Longfleet Road areas during the early hours of Friday, and who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage, to contact police.

The investigation is ongoing

According to reports from The sun and BBCInvestigators are focusing on determining the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack and the movements of those involved before the victim is transported to the hospital area.Police thanked local residents for their cooperation while the cordon remained in place, and said extensive investigations were underway to ensure justice for the teenager and his family.
