Arlikar will register his details on the self-census portal at Lok Bhavan at 11 am on June 16, she added.
Satheesan will participate in the exercise at 12:30 pm on the same day, followed by Chief Secretary A Jayathilak.
She added that the state police chief will complete the operation at the police headquarters on June 17.
The first phase of the 2027 Census – Household List and Population Census – will be conducted across Kerala from July 1 to July 30, 2026.
The second phase, which is the population census, is scheduled to take place in February 2027.
Officials said the 2027 census is expected to be a landmark exercise, as digital tools are used to collect, compile and disseminate data to improve efficiency, accuracy and speed.
Up to 33 questions were notified regarding the list of houses and the census of dwellings.
The state government had earlier issued a notification seeking public cooperation in providing accurate information for the process.
The information provided via the self-counting portal will be verified by enumerators during their field visits.
About 61,282 enumerators and 10,189 supervisors, mostly teachers and other government employees, have been identified across the state for the census, officials said.
Enumerators will use a dedicated mobile application to collect data, while the entire process will be managed through the census management and monitoring system portal.
