Singer Perrie Edwards and her footballer beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have officially married in Portugal after almost a decade together.The wedding took place on Saturday in Faro, where family and close friends gathered for a hush-hush ceremony.
This happy news comes just months after the couple welcomed their second child, daughter Alanis Valentine, born in January 2026.
The couple are also parents to son Axel, who was born in August 2021.
As The Sun reports, Edwards wore a long-sleeved white wedding gown with floral details and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies. The bride was accompanied by six bridesmaids, including her sister Caitlin.The couple had deliberately postponed their wedding plans until after the birth of their daughter early this year.After the ceremony, Edwards was photographed leaving the church alongside Oxlade-Chamberlain, who wore a classic black tuxedo complemented by a matching boutonniere.According to the Daily Mail, the simple service began shortly after 3pm, with about 70 close friends and family members in attendance.
The couple chose to tie the knot near a villa they owned in the Algarve region, where guests were reportedly taken from their hotel to a secret ceremony site before attending a reception at Parrilla Natural.Guests were accommodated at the luxurious Conrad Algarve Hotel, one of the most exclusive resorts in the Algarve. Among the celebrity attendees was Edwards’ former Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock. However, bandmate Jade Thirlwall was unable to attend due to a previous commitment to perform at the Primavera Sound Festival on the same day.The guest list also included many of Oxlade-Chamberlain’s football friends, including former Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson and Fulham midfielder Harrison Reed.Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain, who have been together since 2017, got engaged in June 2022, after welcoming their first child together.
