Spencer Pratt broke his silence after losing his bid to advance in the Los Angeles mayoral race.

While he was in second place behind incumbent Karen Bass in the days following the June 2 election, his progressive challenger, City Councilwoman Nithya Raman, took the lead as more and more ballots were counted. (California allows mail-in ballots to be submitted until Election Day.) Late Monday afternoon, with just 8 percent, or 650,000, of ballots outstanding, the Associated Press called the race for Raman, who will face Bass on Nov. 3.

On Thursday, Pratt posted a brief response to X: “Have they finished counting yet?”

According to NBC News, Bass currently leads by 291,397 votes, or 34.3 percent. Raman has 246333 or 29 percent. Pratt has 216,783, or 25.5 percent.

Pratt was motivated to run for mayor, in part, after seeing his home destroyed last year in the Palisades Fire and was not happy with Bass’ response.

On Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel took a swipe at Pratt Jimmy Kimmel Live!: “You know, he clearly promised that if Karen Bass or Nithya Raman was elected mayor, he would leave L.A. He said he was done with L.A. And Spencer, if you’re watching, we’re so sorry to see you leave. You’re a man of your word and you have to leave. You said you’re leaving, and I know things might be tough right now, especially [now that] Out-of-state donations are running out of money. Moving is expensive. So, to help you out, we have a U-Haul rental for you.

Pratt responded on Instagram, sharing a video of his destroyed home: “Jimmy Kimmel I think you missed the part of the story I don’t need a U-Haul… I have nothing left to pack 🤷‍♂️.”

Among those who supported Pratt in his mayoral bid were President Donald Trump, Joe Rogan, Dennis Quaid and Paris Hilton.
