Celina Jaitley seeks solace at Mahakaleshwar temple amid ongoing divorce battle with estranged husband Peter Haag

Celina Jaitley recently visited the holy Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain and shared an honest note about her spiritual experience. The visit comes at a difficult time in her personal life, as she remains embroiled in an ongoing legal and marital dispute with her estranged husband, Peter Haag.Selena posted, on her Instagram account, a series of photos from the temple and talked about the profound impact that the visit had on her. Describing the Mahakaleshwar Temple as a place that “touches your soul forever”, the actress said she felt happy to offer prayers at one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva.

In her blog post, Selena spoke about Mahakal’s powerful energy and how this experience reminded her of the fleeting nature of life and the eternal divine presence.“It is impossible to describe the energy of Mahakal in words. Standing before the Lord of Time, one is reminded of how fleeting life is and how eternally God is. In the midst of life’s challenges, the temple offers a profound sense of surrender, strength and peace,” she wrote.Encouraging others to visit the holy site as seekers rather than tourists, she urged devotees to absorb the spiritual atmosphere of the temple and witness the devotion of pilgrims traveling from all over the country.

She concluded her note with a prayer for courage, wisdom, protection and inner peace for all, and signed it with “Har Har Mahadev.”

Selena’s visit to the temple comes shortly after she publicly responded to legal notices issued by Peter Haag and his father, Wolfgang Haag, over alleged defamation. The actress claimed that the notices were aimed at silencing her and diverting attention from the complaints and allegations she had raised.Selena and Peter married in 2011 and had twin sons, Winston and Viraj, in 2012. In 2017, they were blessed with another set of twins, Arthur and Shamsheer. Unfortunately, Shamsher died shortly after his birth due to a congenital heart disease. Last year, Selena filed a domestic violence case against Peter in Andheri court in Mumbai under the Domestic Violence Act. She accused him of domestic violence, cruelty and manipulation, and sought compensation of Rs 50 crore besides compensation for loss of income and property.
