The 125cc motorcycle space is getting bigger and two names currently grabbing attention are the newly updated Hero Xtreme 125R and the recently launched Honda CB125 Hornet. Here’s how these two models stack up against each other.

The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox, and the Honda accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, making it the fastest in its class. The Hero Xtreme 125R keeps things simple in the base version with a digital instrument cluster, USB charging and single-channel ABS. But the top variant now offers class-first features like cruise control, riding modes and dual-channel ABS.

As for pricing, the Hero Xtreme 125R starts at INR 98,425, ex-showroom, with the new top-spec variant priced at INR 1.04 lakh, ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the CB125 Hornet is priced at Rs 1.03 lakh, ex-showroom.
