Toyota Joins Anime India 2026: What to Expect and Details

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is entering into the growing field of animation and pop culture in India with a new partnership. The automaker has announced its collaboration with Animation Express for Anime India 2026, a multi-city event series focusing on Japanese anime, manga, gaming and pop culture.

Toyota in Anime India 2026: Venue and dates

The first event under this partnership will be held in New Delhi on June 6-7 at Yashubhoomi. The Delhi edition of Anime India 2026 will see a J-pop concert from Yurika and the India debut of popular Japanese voice actor Inoue Kazuhiko, best known as the voice behind Kakashi from Naruto.

Toyota at Anime India 2026: Models on display

As part of the event, Toyota will display three models at dedicated booths: Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser Taisor.

Interestingly, all three vehicles will get special skins inspired by the world-famous anime series “Attack on Titan.”

The company’s main display featuring the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will also host several interactive activities including quiz competitions, stamp parades and spin games for visitors. Anime India has quickly emerged as one of the largest anime conventions in the country. According to organizers, the last two editions collectively attracted more than 60,000 Gen Z attendees.
