After videos showing an Indian Army captain proposing marriage to his partner in a swoon show at a flight training school in Nashik made headlines, another similar video is now gaining traction on social media.

The clip, which was published by news agency ANI on its Instagram account, shows an Indian army personnel proposing to a woman wearing a blue sari. According to the caption accompanying the video, the proposal came as a surprise and was taken shortly after the ceremony.
The footage shows the army man kneeling on one knee while wearing a military uniform before proposing to his partner. The woman then embraces him as onlookers watch the moment unfold.

The video quickly sparked reactions from social media users, with some describing the gesture as heart-warming while others questioned whether such displays were appropriate and newsworthy.
A proposal that sparked controversy
The latest clip comes days after videos emerged of newly commissioned Indian Army Captain – Bharat Bhardwaj – proposing to his partner after his farewell proposal went viral, attracting national attention.
While many hailed the gesture as an unforgettable personal moment, others raised concerns about military decorum and the use of photos and videos taken within a defense establishment. Reports indicated that the Army is likely to seek clarification from the officer regarding the suggestion being circulated on social media.

At the same time, a number of retired senior military officers publicly defended the young captain, saying that the incident did not rise to the level of a serious breach of security, and criticized what they saw as an excessive response.
The proposals were submitted at the Combat Army Aviation Training School (CAATS) in Nashik, one of the premier aviation training institutions of the Indian Army.
