Netflix has renewed its subscription devil may cry An animated series based on Capcom video games for the third season. This will be the last show – Showrunner Uday Shankar (Castlevania, grey) says that was always the intention.
“For those of you who were paying attention to the episode names, I showed you the structure throughout. This was always Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy’ with the guns and the red coat. Season one was Inferno. Season two was Purgatorio. Season three would be Paradiso,” Shankar said. “These three seasons make up ‘The Force Edge Saga.’” From the beginning, The Force Edge Saga was designed as a film trilogy disguised as a television series.

Season two of devil may cryThe first season of the animation by Studio Mir premiered on May 12. The first season appeared on Netflix’s global top 10 for four weeks, garnering 21.7 million views in 2025. The second season got off to a good start, but fell off the chart after its second week.
Johnny Young Bosch voices Dante, Robbie Diamond is Dante’s nephew Vergil, and Scout Taylor Compton voices the lady in the TV series.
devil may cry The video game was launched in 2001 on PlayStation 2. It was followed by sequels in 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2019. DMC: Devil May Cryreleased in 2013. Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakeningit was actually a precursor to his predecessors. It is considered the best in the series – at least for the generation.
