Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has one of the biggest lessons he wants to pass on to the family line, and it doesn’t involve any sandwich or donut. The 59-year-old British personality revealed a non-negotiable in his family – it doesn’t require any money.
Gordon Ramsay has rules within the family
Ramsay stated that one of the most important things that can be taught is morality. “The one thing I taught them all brilliantly was morals,” Ramsay said during an interview with Fox News Digital, before emphasizing that “it’s the most important thing in life, but it doesn’t cost anything.” Through the upbringing that Chef gives him, he makes sure that his children do not exploit their entitlements anywhere near him.
About Gordon Ramsay’s family
Gordon Ramsay, the feared chef even in the entertainment industry, has six children with his wife Tana: Megan, 28, Holly, 26, Jack, 26, Matilda, 24, Oscar, 7, and Jessie, 2.
Previously, Ramsay shared details about what his kids do during an interview with People magazine. He said: “Jack is a Royal Marines commando, defending the country in some of the most extreme conditions,” and continued: “Meghan is a fantastic police officer.
Holly went into fashion. Tilly (Matilda) is studying at university for her degree. “Tana and I come from a family with no college degrees.”
Gordon Ramsay’s tip: Don’t season the dish until the end
Navigating life with six kids? This is not a big problem in the Ramsay family. Tana revealed that they both come from a family of four siblings, so a big house is second nature to them. However, the one thing Gordon cannot afford is mistakes in cooking, or the place becomes “Hell’s Kitchen.” Pointing out a common mistake, the chef said that seasoning cannot be the last process while cooking a dish. “When you season food, start small, then medium-small, and correct the seasoning at the end.
Don’t wait until they are done before starting to season. “Food should be cooked with spices, and not ignored during 90% of the trip.”
