This petition has been filed by an individual named Raja Chaudhary and seeks to investigate alleged fake advocates and fake law degrees, claiming that the cases reflect a deeper erosion of professional standards within the legal system, LiveLaw reported.

The report added that it also seeks action against people allegedly involved in the commercial exploitation of oral courtroom remarks, including allegations of trademark misappropriation and monetary circulation of remarks made during court proceedings.

What is the Janata Cockroach Party?

The Cockroach Janta Party has attracted national attention as a satirical movement spread online. Reports say it gained significant traction on social media within days, with its X account later blocked in India and its founder, Abhijit Debke, claiming the movement’s website and accounts were facing restrictions.

Supporters see the AKP as a humorous but sharp protest against unemployment, inequality and the feeling that ordinary citizens are treated with contempt. At the same time, critics have questioned her online support base and seriousness as a political force.

The CJP’s ideology can be understood as protest satire. He uses the image of the “cockroach” not as weakness, but as survival. Its message is that marginalized, disparaged and unemployed youth are still present, still resilient and still able to fight back. Its informal manifesto appears to be about unemployment, institutional accountability, democratic expression, and the right of young citizens to question authority without excluding them.

The idea emerged after controversial remarks attributed to Chief Justice Surya Kant, in which he compared some unemployed youth to “cockroaches” and “parasites”, sparked widespread online backlash.

Founder of the Justice and Development Party

Abhijit Deepki is a 30-year-old Indian political communications strategist and founder of CJP Party who is known for his work in digital political messaging, narrative building and online campaign strategy.

Debaki completed his degree in journalism in Pune before moving to the US for higher education. He recently graduated from Boston University with a two-year master’s degree in public relations.

Between 2020 and 2023, he worked with the Aam Aadmi Party and was involved in the party’s social media operations and election campaign.

Police cover at the home of the founder of the CJP party in India

Police have been deployed for protection at the home of online satirist Debaki’s home in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where his parents lived when he was a student in Boston, US, officials said on Sunday.

“We have provided round-the-clock general police protection to Abhijit Deepki’s residence located in MIDC Waluj area. This is to ensure that there is no crowding at his residence as the CJP case is trending on social media at the moment,” DCP Atulkar told news agency PTI.

He denied receiving any official complaint at any police station under his jurisdiction.
