The 66-year-old and his farm partner, Caleb Cooper, cheered with the crowd and punched the air to celebrate the success.

The duo filmed the video at Farm Fest in Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, where the choir’s performance was broadcast live, according to The Irish Sun. The official account of the reality show contestants said in the comments of the video: “We cannot believe it. Thank you all very much. Thank you for trusting us.” The group, made up of 34 people from across the UK, sang Bastille’s “Pompeii”. Along with the golden buzzer, they received a standing ovation from judges Amanda Holden and KSI.

The Hawkstone Farmers Choir began as part of an advertising campaign for Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone beer, with the group singing. Being hardworking farmers, they decided to start a proper choir because the members liked it so much. After a public vote, they are now one of the finalists of the popular British show.
