‘Karakkam’ promises horror, comedy and music
Talking about ‘Karakkam’, Shaun revealed that the film combines supernatural elements with humor and music.The actress plays a character named Rani Maria and explained that the story revolves around a group of ghosts who unexpectedly return to the world of the living.Describing the plot, she said: “It’s a comedy film, a light film with appropriate ghost vibes. My character’s name is Rani Maria, and we’re all ghosts. I don’t want to explain exactly why we’re there, but basically, we just want to go back, and suddenly, we’re called back into the real world. We’re even scared. Then we’re stuck with these two characters, played by Srinath Bhasi and Praveen, and we literally force them on.” To bring us back.
The story explores how we came back to life and what our backstory is. ‘Drishyam 3’ continues its impressive run across the globe
Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Drishyam 3’ continues to register strong numbers at the global box office despite its second day drop.According to Sakneelak, the film collected a net collection of Rs 11.05 crore in India on its second day after earning Rs 15.85 crore on its opening day. The second day’s figure represents a 30.3 percent decline.The film opened in 4,886 shows on the second day compared to 5,506 shows on the first day.
The overall occupancy rate decreased from 51.3 percent to 44.5 percent.
Despite the decline, Drishyam 3 has collected Rs 26.90 crore in net collections in India and Rs 31.18 crore in gross collections in India within two days.The overseas market remains a major force. The film reportedly earned Rs 20 crore overseas on the second day, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 45 crore.As a result, the total global collection reached Rs 76.18 lakh crore.Kerala continues to lead the film’s performance. The Malayalam version alone contributed to the net collection of Rs 9.85 crore on the second day and recorded a strong overall occupancy of 61 per cent, with the night shows reaching 68.33 per cent.Meanwhile, ‘Drishyam 3’ features Mohanlal, Meena, Esther Anil, Ansiba Hassan, Siddique and others in pivotal roles.
