Grizz Chapman, best known for his appearance on the NBC comedy series 30 rock, He died. He was 52 years old.
Chapman’s co-star, Kevin Brown, confirmed in a Facebook post that he died on Friday. “I am sorry to inform you that Mac Chapman, also known as Grizz Chapman, passed away today,” he wrote in the caption of photos of the two at the show. “May he rest in peace.”
Throughout the seven seasons, Chapman appeared 30 Rock. He played Grizz Griswold, a bodyguard and member of Tracy Jordan’s entourage (played by Tracy Morgan). Meanwhile, Brown played Tracy’s other bodyguard, Dot Com. Chapman and Jordan met when Chapman was working as a bouncer at a strip club and became friends.

Although the cause of death has not yet been announced, Chapman previously suffered from health issues and kidney disease and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. He also served as a spokesperson for the National Kidney Foundation.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
