Chris Rock, the famous comedian, was all smiles celebrating his daughter’s graduation with his ex-wife Malac Compton-Rock. The trio dressed in their formal attire and posed for photos together at the University of Southern California graduation ceremony.

Compton-Rock shared her fond memories on Instagram, praising her daughter for her extraordinary academic achievements. At the carousel, their daughter, Zahra, wore a red and gold graduation sash, as well as a dress and hat. She belongs to the Class of 2026 and holds degrees from the USC School of Performing Arts and the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Meanwhile, the proud parents stood in front of the audience as their daughter walked onto the stage.

“Congratulations, Zahra! Your mom, dad, and your entire family are so proud of your extraordinary academic accomplishments,” Compton-Rock wrote her happy sentiments in the caption, before adding, “Your lifelong love of literature led you to pursue an English (Narrative Studies) degree at USC, where you graduated with high honors! Celebrating your accomplishments over these past few days is a memory I will cherish forever.”

She also continued to thank her family who supported them during this occasion. Paying tribute to her daughter, Compton-Rock shared kind words about how thoughtful, compassionate and wonderful Zahara is. “I don’t know if I’ve told you enough, but reading some of your papers left me amazed at your ability to synthesize complex literature with such insight and depth,” she wrote in the caption. Soon, comments were congratulating Zahraa with red hearts all over the section.
