As previously mentioned, Shields plays Allie, a novelist with years of experience whose movie deal expires at the beginning of the season. Williamson, for her part, plays Andy, a podcaster in her 20s and an aspiring writer whose podcast has brought her fame but a reputation she doesn’t want.
