Production on A Quiet Place Part III has officially begun with director John Krasinski confirming the news on social media.Krasinski, who returns as writer, director and producer of the latest installment of the post-apocalyptic horror franchise, shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set in New York City on Instagram on Sunday.

The streets of New York have been turned into movie setsAlong with the director dropping the first photos from the set, New York locals took to social media to share some chaotic behind-the-scenes videos from the set which saw a large group of extras frantically running around different streets, locked down for filming.
“A Quiet Place III” is linked to “A Quiet Place: Day One”The upcoming sequel marks the fourth film in the “A Quiet Place” saga. The original film debuted in 2018 and was followed by “A Quiet Place Part II” in 2021. In 2024, the series expanded with the prequel “A Quiet Place: Day One,” starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.The decision to return to New York City to film the third installment has sparked speculation that the new film could further explore the effects of the alien invasion introduced in the prequel. The third part will bring back Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe in the lead roles. New additions to the franchise include Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Katie O’Brien.
