Hello Kitty is no stranger to Major League Baseball. Since 2011, the Los Angeles Dodgers have hosted their annual Hello Kitty Night, which in recent years in particular has become a favorite among fans due to its highly sought-after merchandise, available exclusively to attendees (and a hot item on eBay after the fact). Now, sports retailer Homage is making the coveted crossover more accessible with its new Hello Kitty x MLB apparel collection.
The officially licensed capsule is available exclusively at Homage.com, and will be released in limited quantities throughout the 2026 MLB season, with the first nine products going online on Tuesday, May 5. This initial launch highlights three teams: the Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Yankees, and the Chicago Cubs. Each team has a Hello Kitty themed T-shirt available in three sizes: women’s, unisex and youth.
Adult t-shirts (sizes X-Small to 3XL) retail for $40, and children’s t-shirts (sizes 2-12) retail for $30. While Homage has yet to announce the other teams involved in this partnership, it has been confirmed that the full collection includes 30 styles in adult and youth sizes.
This MLB partnership joins dozens of unexpected brand collaborations with the beloved Sanrio character, which has been especially prevalent during Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary in 2024. Most recently, the iconic white cat (who apparently isn’t actually a cat, according to the creators), has teamed up with Crocs on a new shoe collection for spring, along with Pop Mart (creator of the prized Labubu) on The Monsters x Hello Kitty and Friends collectibles.
