The percentage of afternoon shows increased to 37.23%, while the evening shows recorded 32.62%. Nightly offers saw a drop to 25.31%.Set in the underworld of Bangalore in the 1970s, the film follows Kaali, an ordinary man who is drawn into a violent, power-driven world.The film received mixed response from critics. ETimes, in its review, stated, “Overall, KD – The Devil offers a mixed cinematic experience. The first half is hampered by narrative stagnation and repetitive exposition, while the latter half reflects glimpses of director Prem’s signature strength in crafting drama of high tone and scale, though this effect remains inconsistent and limited to select portions.”
