Irrfan Khan remains one of the most respected names in cinema and has worked in Hindi, British and American films. His career has lasted more than three decades and has also received numerous awards and critical acclaim.
His passing left a huge void in cinema. Just four days before his death, his mother Saeeda Begum died in Jaipur at the age of 93.
Babylon Khan ‘s Emotional throwback album
Earlier in 2024, Babil Khan shared a touching album and the post captured intimate family memories. He quickly caught attention online, as seen in the first picture of his parents, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, from their younger days. The following slide shows Babel during his undergraduate years at the University of Westminster in London.
At that moment Babel was behind the camera. He was assisted by his colleague Louis Eddy.
The album also included a still photo of Irrfan from his shooting days. Another photo showed Babel’s childhood passport.
Babil Khan’s heartfelt note touched many
Along with the album, Babel wrote an emotional letter to his father. He expressed his longing and acceptance and wrote: “I’m going to miss you, you know? Standing under my umbrella. I’m going to miss you too, but I think it’s time to dance in the rain now.”
Actor Siddhanth Kapoor responded to this post. He commented, “Your father would be very proud of you, brother.”Babel often shared his feelings about his father. On another earlier note, he talked about their bond. “No one knew him like me,” he wrote, “no one knew me like me. It’s easy to say, to miss him, it’s easy. It’s easy to be soft and weep for losing him. It’s easy. Do you know what’s hard? To remember the ecstasy in his voice when he raised it in exaltation to shout ‘Papillow!!!’ every time he saw me.”
So let’s remember how painful it would be to lose him for long periods of barren time when he’s away from filming.Babel also shared deeply personal memories. “It is impossible to bear the memory of the feeling of his beard on my fingers as I scratched his cheek as he read his text or how my fingertips rested gently on his eyelids when he took a nap,” he wrote. His voice was subtly deep, but it elicited only a gentle prayer from me, a prayer that can only arise from within when an outside force lulls your existential fears to stillness.
I wish I could have one last dance with you.”On the work front, Babil Khan was last seen in the film ‘Log Out’.
