When you both first joined the cast Love is on the spectrumDid you ever imagine that you would find your person and also touch the hearts of many people along the way?

Madison Yes. The funny thing is, when I was in my senior year of high school, I dreamed that I was dating a country boy, ironically.

Tyler I came across an ad once when I was advertising my DJing services. It was for a Chris Stapleton concert in Tampa. I’ve always done ads in Facebook groups for my DJ business, gigs, [Tampa] Box games, Nascar races, you name it. Then I scrolled through my feed, and they were looking for a guy in the Tampa, St. Pete area to go on a date with a girl on the spectrum. And I always prayed that, if the Lord saw it right for me, I would fall in love as someone on the spectrum and be with a girl on the spectrum. So, I filled out the resume, they liked what they saw, and the rest is history.

Your engagement was one of the most emotional moments of this final season. Tyler, what was going through your mind when you were getting ready to propose to Madison?

Tyler maybe [most] Nervous as I have ever been in my life. I mean I was shaking a lot that day. But when she said yes, she was the happiest I had ever been. I’m usually a screaming and yelling type of guy when I’m excited and happy, but I couldn’t help but cry knowing that God answered my prayer that day,

Madison It shows in church, like Tyler is the one who screams and screams, and I’m the one who cries when they get emotional.

Madison, when you were reading the note that Tyler wrote to you during your engagement, that was the moment you realized, Wow, he’s about to propose?

Madison Yes, I started crying happy tears, and the more I read the note, the more I realized, This really happens.

Was it difficult for you to keep your engagement a secret? How do you feel now that you are able to talk about it?

Madison It’s a great feeling to be able to talk about it. For example, I have the worst poker face, and now I’m happy to be able to shout it from the rooftops, because I’ve wanted to do that for the past nine months.

Tyler Yes. I mean I understand the TV aspects and stuff, but man, it was hard to keep it a secret. But I have to tell you, I am comfortable I don’t have to keep it a secret anymore.

What was it like watching that beautiful, honest moment from your engagement?

Tyler I still feel emotional!

Madison Yes, I feel very emotional when I watch it again, it makes me very happy, I rewatch it again and again.

Madison, I know right after the engagement, you said you wanted to come out Say yes to the dress, And I saw that Randy It arrived You after the season releases. Do you have any plans to go to Kleinfeld and pick out your dream dress?

Madison Randy Vanoli reached out to me not long ago. I was so excited. I was crying tears of happiness. I couldn’t help but scream at that moment. Also I may be in Kleinfeld in the near future. You never know.

Other than planning to find your dream dress, how is the wedding planning process going?

Madison We’re just getting started as we had to keep it a secret for a long time.

Tyler Yes. We had to keep it a secret because of the show, and also, I need to continue my music career, and that way I can be in a place where I can support it. As a matter of fact, that’s why I’m in Nashville now. I’m at Bradley Barn in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, where I do a lot of writing and recording. The one thing I love about this place is that it has my own interests; Nascar and country music. But when the timing is right, we will definitely start having dates together.

Do you think you’d be open to the possibility of photographing your wedding? Love is on the spectrum?

Tyler You’ll have to find out.

Madison Yes, you’ll never know. You’ll have to watch to find out.

Both stories have done so much for the autism community. If you could share advice with anyone with autism who looks up to you, what would you say?

Madison Autism is a journey, not a disorder. Autism is meant to make you, it’s not meant to break you, and there are a lot of talents associated with autism. If I wasn’t autistic, I wouldn’t know the entire Disney lexicon. I don’t know everything about American Girl dolls. I don’t know how to make jewelry like I know. I don’t know how to sew like I do. I don’t know how to say hello in fifty languages. I will not know all the Presidents of the United States in order. I wouldn’t have known all the states and capitals in kindergarten, nor would I have the amazing memory I have. Like, I can remember hotel rooms from vacations years ago. I can remember the names of people from Charter Oak Pool and Fountain Grove Pool when I was a kid. I can remember names of random people from school.

Tyler Yes, I feel the same way about autism. If I didn’t have it, would I have had the perfect stadium, or what I know about Nascar, box football. What I would say is that with hard work, perseverance, determination, a positive attitude and faith in God, you can overcome any obstacle and do anything you set your mind to. And for anyone on the spectrum who wants to find love, it is absolutely possible to find love on the spectrum – pun intended.

If someone with autism came up to you and asked, “Do you think I should be on the show?” Do you suggest doing this?

Madison Yes. What’s interesting is that I had no interest in dating until I was on the show, and just watching Abby and David’s success is what made it possible for me. And find Love is on the spectrum That was how I got out there, so finding love on the spectrum is possible for anyone.

Tyler Yes. I mean, if you want to find love, go for it. I mean there’s nothing scary about it.

I’m not sure if you will be able to answer this question, but will they appear in the next season of the series? Love is on the spectrum?

Madison You’ll have to watch to find out.

Tyler You’ll have to find out. But what I can say is that I got a lot out of music. As a matter of fact, last week, I sang and was the host of BMI Rooftop on the road here in Nashville. This week I write with John Oates of Hall & Oates. She also wrote with Aaron Wrightier, for which he won a Grammy Award A star is born And the Capital Markets Authority [winners] Ella Langley and Riley Jer yen. She also wrote with Tia Stillers, who won the CMA and ACM Awards for Song of the Year for “I Hope You Dance.” On May 15, I will be singing my first single, “OH YEAH BABY,” and I will be performing at the Opry. My team here in Nashville, they have a lot of things I can’t share yet.
