Over the weekend, Bravo concluded its investigation into the audio recording from the reunion that leaked online, and determined that someone “involved in the production of the reunion” — not a cast member, despite social media speculation — was the one who released an unauthorized recording from Thursday’s highly anticipated taping in New York City, which won’t air for another month, on May 26.
Investigators were brought in to investigate the leak, Cohen said on his SiriusXM Radio Indy Monday revealed that although this team of investigators was “working on it,” it was “a Bravo fan — who you’ll hear more about — who solved the case… [and] “I provided crucial information.”

Cohen, who confirmed that there are more audio recordings that have not yet been leaked, called the reunion “one of the most emotional” ever filmed, but also “one of the most emotionally draining.”
The 10-hour taping, which began at 10:30 a.m. and ended around 8 p.m. (with an hour break for lunch), was the first time the crew had met to discuss the film. “There were so many emotions on that stage — deep anger, deep hurt,” Cohen said of the cast. “This situation has really sent shockwaves through this group, and I know this is kind of Chris Harrison’s ‘most dramatic rose ceremony ever’ statement, but it has really sent shockwaves through the group in ways that I didn’t even realize as I sat there looking at the faces and hearing from some of these roommates.”
That’s why Cohen says he was “so angry” when he woke up the next morning — too early for eye surgery — and learned through social media that audio had leaked, for the first time ever in a Bravo interview. “When I told you I was crazy. It felt like… a violation. I just thought: Wow. This is a cast. They all showed up. They all made themselves completely barren. And a leak… it completely degrades the work of this crew and this cast. Especially, again, they all showed up and sat there and took it.”
As for incorrectly blaming online actors for the leak, Cohen said he knew right away that no one from the group had leaked it. “[There were] Stupid takes and the reasons they leaked it: to get a better mod, to get a worse mod, to protect themselves, to fight others. “This is stupid,” I said. And I love this actor. I felt so bad for the next 24 hours after the staff felt the need to come out and say, “I didn’t do that.” I didn’t leak it. I was so angry.
On Sunday, Bravo issued the following statement: “An investigation into the recent leak of Summer house Reunion Audio concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and was distributed by an individual involved in the production of Reunion. As a result of these findings, appropriate action was taken. “There is no evidence that any member of staff was involved in recording the audio.”
The statement continued: “We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to unauthorized distribution of our content. We are aware that there is more audio being obtained that is improperly obtained and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from publishing, sharing or amplifying any unauthorized audio.”
