Nara Smith – the model and creator who has gained a large following for her content that combines fashion, cooking and upscale lifestyle – has signed with Range Media Partners across the board.

Smith began her career as a model but gained more than 17 million followers across TikTok and Instagram after she began preparing elaborate meals in a more elaborate wardrobe. Her bombastic content, which includes videos of her making everything from roasted chicken to Play-Doh while accessorizing with high-fashion pieces, is now covered relentlessly in publications and on the Internet in general. Smith was profiled by GQ, the New York Times and World Water Day.

“Nara is a dream agent, a true multi-hyphenate agent with a distinct point of view and strong business acumen,” Iman Radwan, managing partner at Range and co-president of Range Digital, said at the signing. “She has an amazing ability to bridge fashion and homemaking and tell aspirational stories in a way that feels modern and completely her own.”

In fashion, she has worked with brands including Miu Miu, Schiaparelli and Calvin Klein, as well as Reformation, where she participated in a clothing line collaboration last year. On the food front, Smith has launched a limited edition Roasted Garlic Oil created in collaboration with the Algae Cooking Club.

It was announced this week that Smith is preparing to release her first cookbook, Homemadeand is scheduled to be released via HarperCollins on October 13. The cookbook contains 85 made-from-scratch recipes, drawing subtle influence from her multicultural upbringing. (Smith grew up in Frankfurt to a South African mother and German father, and now lives in the United States.)

“Through the intersection of its luxurious aesthetics and everyday storytelling, I believe Nara forms a new blueprint for the modern lifestyle creator,” Redouane added.

Smith continues to be represented by Mayman Greenspan.
