The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is set to contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections with a majority share as part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

The AIADMK will contest 167 of the total 234 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. AIADMK President Edappadi K Palaniswami will contest from his hometown Edappadi. In his official statement, Palaniswami stated that the decision was taken after due consideration by the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Board.
