After being cast as Michael in 2023, Jafar took to Instagram to express that he was “humbled and honored to bring my uncle Michael’s story to life.”

David plays Jackson’s older brother, Jackie, who is Joe and Katherine’s second child.
Kat Graham – Diana Ross
Kat stars as the Queen of Motown, Diana, whose 1969 hit, Diana Ross presents the Jackson 5putting the younger siblings on the map in the music industry. Known for hits like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” Diana was Motown’s most successful act of the 1960s.
Miles Teller – John Branca
Miles plays lawyer and entertainment manager John, who is hired by Michael after his father is fired as his manager. Michael eventually fired John due to his alleged financial interference.
