The film witnessed a sharp decline on the second Monday as reported by Sacnilk.After collecting over Rs 1 crore on Sunday, the film’s 11th day performance has dropped significantly and this marks one of the biggest single day declines for the film so far.
The total collections crossed Rs 50 crore worldwide
Even with the recent decline, Dacoit has managed to build a decent cumulative total across markets.
Domestic earnings have crossed the Rs 30 crore mark in terms of net worth while the overall numbers in India are close to Rs 38 crore. International markets contributed over Rs 13 crore, pushing the film’s global gross past Rs 50 crore.
Occupancy levels in “Dacoit”
The film recorded an overall occupancy rate of 14.01% on the day with morning showings at 10.58% and afternoon showings at 13.08%. Evening and night offers also remained low at 10.42% and 10.83% respectively.
The film opened in 1,108 shows on Monday, which is fewer than the previous days.
Adivi Sesh shares emotional fan meeting
Amid the box office updates, Adivi Sesh spoke about a deeply personal interaction with a fan during a promotional event as reported by Cinema Express.“He (the fan) said that he was attacked by a group of people and was hospitalized for a long time. After that, he was afraid to go out. He told me that watching ‘Major’ gave him the courage to face life again,” Sesh said.He further recalls: “The first thing he did after leaving was watch this movie (Dacoit).
