Christina Applegate has provided an update on her health following reports that she has been hospitalized in Los Angeles amid an ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis.

“Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes,” the actress shared on Instagram on Monday. “Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong girl and I’m getting stronger and better every day. I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more soon enough.”

She shared the post with a picture of a coffee cup with the word “Kissy Casey” written on it, and placed it on top of her new diary. You are the one with the sad eyeswhich was released last month.

The update is coming yet TMZ The Daily Mail reported last Thursday, April 16, that the veteran star had been hospitalized since late March. The actress has not commented on the report and her only Instagram post in April was an update on her now-memoir New York Times Best selling audio. After the report went viral, Applegate’s rep issued a statement declining to comment on whether or not she was “in the hospital or what her medical treatments are.”

“She has a long history of complex medical conditions that she has been open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast,” the rep added.
