The opposition parties uniformly defeated the BJP’s attempt to “alter the democratic balance”: it was out

Addressing an election rally in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, he said: “The Congress-DMK alliance, along with other opposition parties, stood united and defeated the BJP’s harmful and dangerous attempt to alter the democratic balance through delimitation. It is an immoral victory for justice and federalism.”

“I stand before you with pride and affection alongside my dear friend, your Prime Minister MK Stalin,” Karji said.

“He is a leader who carries the great legacy of social justice, self-respect and inclusive growth, which defines this sacred land. This is the land of Periyar and Anna (CN Annadurai), and this is the land of Kalaignar (M Karunanidhi) – leaders who taught India the meaning of dignity, rational thought and equality.”

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not introducing the Women’s Reservation Bill in 2023 itself, he said: “He (Modi) has been quiet for 30 months.”

Kharj stressed that his party works for the well-being of women, democracy, and establishing justice in society, and said: “We are the people who always stand with the public and justice.”

Talking to voters, he asked them whether they wanted Modi or Stalin and Rahul Gandhi.

“Who do you want? You want Stalin or Rahul Gandhi. Then vote unitedly for Congress, DMK and alliance. Then Modi will remain silent,” he said.

Pointing out that the DMK-Congress alliance reflects a people-first model with welfare measures, women-centric schemes and investments in education and healthcare sectors, he said: “By contrast, the BJP has overseen rising prices, unemployment and institutional erosion.”

He stressed that the April 23 elections in Tamil Nadu are an “ideological battle.” He urged youth, women, farmers and workers to support the secular progressive alliance.

“The result (of the referendum) will decide whether India will choose partition or unity,” he added. He pointed out.

Appealing to voters to cast their votes for the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance, he said: “Now is the time to rise again. Come out in large numbers. Strengthen the hands of MK Thiru Stalin. Strengthen the Secular Progressive Alliance.”

“Let Tamil Nadu build a strong wall against divisive forces – not just for itself, but for the entire nation. Let the May 4 results send a message to all parts of India – that the people have rejected hatred and chosen harmony.” He pointed out.

“Together, we will defend democracy. Together, we will protect the Constitution. Together, we will build a stronger, more inclusive India,” Karg said.

In his speech, Stalin attacked Modi over his televised speech on April 17 at 8 pm, saying it should be called BJP leader Modi’s political speech.

“While the Model Code of Conduct for Elections was in effect, with the national flag in the background, he spoke as he berated the opposition parties word for word. He spoke everything that should be said in an election campaign. He alleged that this is a blatant violation of the rules.”

Observing that Modi was under the impression that the DMK would handle the ‘demarcation’ issue ‘casually’, Stalin said, “But it has happened in exactly the opposite direction. The people of the southern states are angry. The crushing defeat of the AIADMK-led NDA alliance is now certain.”

“Modi spoke slanderously about opposition parties banning reservation for women. That too did not work. The weapon he thought he would unleash on us during the elections has now turned against him,” he said. He said.
