Osmania University has extended the registration deadline for Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2026. Candidates can now apply till 23 April 2026 without late fees on the official website – ecet.tgche.ac.in.The online application process began on March 9, 2026. Candidates who missed the regular deadline can still apply by paying a late fee.
TS ESET 2026 : Details of late fees
Candidates may submit applications with a late fee according to the following table:
- April 28, 2026: Late fee of INR 500
- May 4, 2026: Late fee of INR 1,000
- May 8, 2026: Late fee of INR 2,500
- May 10, 2026: Late fee of INR 5,000
- May 12, 2026: Late fee of INR 10,000
The registration fee is INR 500 for SC, ST and PH candidates, while it is INR 900 for all other candidates. Payment can be made through credit card, debit card or online banking.
TS ECET 2026: Application Steps
Candidates can follow the following steps to register:
- Visit the official website at ecet.tgche.ac.in
- Pay the application fee using your credit card, debit card or net banking
- Fill in the details of the personal, educational and qualifying examinations
- Upload the required documents
- Submit the application form
- Download and print the form for future reference

The exam will be conducted for subjects including Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CIV), Mechanical Engineering (MEC), Chemical Engineering (CHE), Mining (MIN), Metallurgy (MET), Pharmacy (PHM) and Bachelor of Mathematics (BSM).
TS ECET 2026: Exam Pattern
For diploma holders in engineering, the exam will include:
- Mathematics – 50 marks
- Physics – 25 marks
- Chemistry – 25 marks
- Engineering paper (branch) – 100 marks
- Total marks: 200
- Exam duration: 3 hours
For Bachelor of Mathematics candidates:
- Mathematics – 100 marks
- Analytical ability – 50 marks
- Communicative English – 50 marks
For pharmacy candidates:
- Pharmacy – 50 degrees
- Pharmacy – 50 degrees
- Drugs – 50 degrees
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry – 50 marks
