In recent months, the relationship between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau has become increasingly serious.

What started as an exciting dinner date of banter and random entanglement has clearly blossomed into something more.

Now, a report has been released claiming that the singer is pregnant.

Is this correct? Here’s everything we know.

Is Katy Perry secretly pregnant?

On Thursday, February 19, a bold announcement took social media by storm.

The tweet showed a photo of Perry and Trudeau, a photo that shows the two wearing winter clothes to enjoy this wonderful weather.

However, it was the comment that caught people’s attention.

“Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are expecting their first child together,” the tweet read.

As you can imagine, this elicited quite a reaction.

Some bombarded the once-surprising power couple with congratulations.

Others expressed their judgment about the pregnancy shortly after their relationship began last summer.

Many of the responses are filtered, as always, by people’s opinions about these famous and interesting people.

However, others stopped to question the source of the news. And its validity, of course.

Pop Drug, which tweeted the ad, is not TMZ or Hollywood Reporter or the people Or so we say Dioxime. Is the pregnancy news true?

There is no reliable evidence to support the pregnancy claim

Katy Perry has not made an announcement to this effect.

Justin Trudeau did not make an announcement to this effect.

None of the early tabloid tabloids — the types of well-connected operations who link directly to verified sources or may get direct tips from hospital staff or celebrities’ employees — have reported.

We don’t even see lesser-known sites claiming to have hard-to-verify reports in this sense.

Could Perry be pregnant? Sure, probably. In her early 40s, this might be a geriatric pregnancy, but it’s possible. but maybe Not that this happens.

It is very important that everyone examines their reports closely.

Even if you’re not familiar with publications, most will cite their sources, allowing you to trace rumors back to their source.

We are here at THG We’ll discuss entertainment news rumors like this and provide all the information we have.

In fact, it appears that the method that inspired this apparent social media prank was simply Perry’s above Instagram post.

“Let love be the revolution,” she wrote alongside a series of photos, some of which showed Trudeau.

Not every piece of misinformation has a motive

Obviously, there are times when people flood social media with fake news to corrupt people’s hearts and minds to win elections, promote a business venture, or wage a smear campaign.

But people also spread brazen lies (or unsubstantiated rumours) on social media in their own right.

Some people are deceivers at heart.

If Perry and Trudeau decide to have a baby, we have a feeling the world will find out through reliable reports or through their own announcement.

In the meantime, it’s wise to double-check the post you’re reading before you take it seriously. (Also, it’s 2026 – stop reading tweets altogether!)
