Even though Joe Rogan now lives in Texas, he still has ideas about who he wants to become the next mayor of Los Angeles.
During a new episode of his podcast The Joe Rogan Experiencewhich featured guest star Spencer Pratt, the former kickboxer revealed that he supports the reality star’s campaign. Rogan previously endorsed Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
Earlier this year, Brat announced that he hopes to unseat Karen Bass, who is running for re-election, in this year’s election. Hills The Married alum, who is married to Heidi Montag, harshly criticized Bass after his family lost their home in the 2025 Palisades Fire, blaming her for fire recovery issues and water shortages.
During a recent appearance on Rogan’s podcast, Pratt talked about why he decided to throw his hat into the 2026 Los Angeles mayoral race. Afterward, the host said, “Listen man, I’m voting for you.”
However, Rogan, who left California for Texas in 2020, explained, “[Well] I can’t vote for you, but I’m rooting for you. “I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, there’s no question I would vote for you.”
Pratt was clearly happy to have the support of the influential and controversial podcaster. “Honored to be with the GOAT, @joerogan. My goal is to make LA so great we can take him back from Texas,” he wrote on Facebook afterward.
Pratt initially announced his mayoral campaign in January, during a neighborhood rally focused on accountability for the Palisades fire. “Business as usual is a death sentence for Los Angeles, and I’m tired of waiting for someone to take real action,” he said on stage at the time. “This is why I’m running for mayor. Let me be clear: This is not a campaign, this is a mission. We are going to expose the system, we are going to go into every dark corner of the city and cleanse it with our light, and when we’re done, Los Angeles will be camera ready again.”
