Legendary singer Asha Bhosle passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai. While celebrities were pouring in their tributes, Shah Rukh Khan also took to social media to express his grief over her death. He shared an intimate picture where he can be seen kissing her on the cheek.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote: “It is truly sad to learn of the passing of Asha Tai… Her voice was one of the pillars of Indian cinema and will continue to resonate across the world for centuries to come. A talent that will outlive so many, she has always showered me with blessings and love and I will miss her. Rest in peace Asha Tai… Love you.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also expressed concern when she was hospitalized and wished her a speedy recovery, is now deeply saddened by her death.
