When Asha Bhosle talks about singing live on stage at the age of 90 and surviving difficult times in her life

Asha Bhosle was admitted to the hospital with a chest infection on Saturday night. While reports indicated that she had suffered a cardiac arrest, her granddaughter, Zanae Bosley, shared her health update on social media.

She said: “My grandmother Asha Bhosle was admitted to the hospital due to extreme fatigue and a chest infection, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Treatment is ongoing, and we hope that everything will be fine. We will update you with positive news.” Although the legendary singer is now 92 years old, she has continued to be active. In fact, she held a live concert in Dubai on the occasion of her 90th birthday celebrations. Her energy on stage and love for singing even at this age were an inspiration to many. One of them was seen in viral videos about the childish energy she had on stage, and she was seen dancing to the song “Tauba Tauba” by singer Vicky Kaushal. Here’s the time I talked about doing this ASHA@90 event.

She told PTI, “At the age of 90, I have to stand for three hours on stage and sing songs. I am happy that I can do it at this age.”

I often felt like I wouldn’t be able to survive, but I did.Given her extensive body of work, she also shared some regrets and reflections.

She expressed her desire to explore more languages and delve deeper into classical music, while acknowledging the challenges of surviving in a competitive industry.“Music Kabhi Khatam Nahin Hota. Ye Darya Hai. I have sung songs for the lead artist and for the dancers as well. I think I can fit in well with anyone. But I wish I had sung more songs in different languages. I wish I could have done more classical singing. In every field, there is politics. In films too there is politics, so it is not easy. I have a lot of faith in destiny, and I believe that whatever is destined for me will come to me.” What is not meant for me, I will never understand.

“I had difficulties, but today when I look back, everything seemed strange when I came out of it.” While she is undergoing treatment at the hospital, fans are now wishing her a speedy recovery.
