Streaming star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has announced that he will be taking an indefinite break from streaming. This decision comes after growing frustration over cheating issues in Arc Raiders.
Ninja, who was one of the game’s most active and popular streamers, said the current state of the game made it difficult for him to continue playing or create content around it.The problem mainly comes from hackers and stream snipers who target gamers, especially high-profile streamers like Ninja. Many online players also complained about the unfair gameplay, saying that matches became frustrating and difficult to enjoy.
Despite multiple responses from Embark Studios, the issue has not been fully resolved, pushing even dedicated players away from the game.
Ninja takes a break as Arc Raiders becomes “literally unplayable” due to hackers
During his Twitch stream on April 8, Ninja clearly explained why he was withdrawing. He said, “I won’t be participating in Arc, and I won’t be playing anything other than League. So if I join, it’ll be my league, or a sports show. I’m not even kidding… I’m taking a break.” His words showed how serious the situation was for him.
Ninja also shared how much he enjoyed the game before things went wrong. “Ark has been supporting me like crazy. It’s been a blast. Then the cheats and updates…the sniping and cheating has sent me over the edge. It literally makes the game unplayable,” He added. According to him, hackers using his stream to track his location made it impossible to compete fairly.Since early 2026, the phenomenon of cheating in Arc Raiders has become a hot topic among players.
There have been several accounts of players having almost identical experiences, especially in high-level games. Some content creators and their followers feel that Embark Studios should move faster on implementing an anti-cheat system.Although the studio promised to take action on this matter, as well as refund money to people who lost some of their in-game resources due to hackers, this issue still exists.
