'Bhooth Bangla is better than Bhool Bhulaiyaa': Paresh Rawal boldly claims on Priyadarshan-Akshay Kumar horror comedy

Priyadarshan’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ (starring Akshay Kumar) outshines ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ with deeper emotions, says Paresh Rawal, which was shot at Chomu Palace. He loves his reunion with Brian J. Featuring Tabu, Amiga Gabi, Rajpal Yadav. The Balaji production will release on April 17.

Priyadarshan’s latest horror comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’, starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, is being compared to his blockbuster film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ but the veteran actor promises something better. During a recent interview, Parrish emphasized that the film retains the director’s classic touch while also delivering a deeper emotional impact.

Rawls confidently declared that ‘Bhooth Bangla’ was superior to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.

Speaking to Money Control, Paresh Rawal opened up about the film by saying, “I think Bhool Bhulaiyaa se kai achchi aayi hai, it’s a well shot film, itni behatreen shoot ki hai ye film Priyan ji logon ko bahut maza ayega. Aur ye kahani mein emotional hook bahut achcha hai. It has Tabu, Jishu Sengupta, and Mithila. Assembly Badi Aachhi hai is off track since we shot it at Chomu Palace (Jaipur) so it’s a taaza hoti hai bhole bhulia ki memory.

During the same interaction, Rawal also expressed his happiness at collaborating once again with his favorite director, whom he finds a pleasure to work with.

He expressed his excitement, noting the director’s return to Hindi cinema after six years of popular Malayalam projects. The actor said, “Priyan ji ke saath jab jab kaam karta hoon mujhe maza hi aata hai. Ya phir woh Malamal Weekly ho, ya Hera Pheri ho, even Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Unke saath maza hi aata hai.”

Woh bhi kafi ass bad aye hain. He is also returning to Hindi films after 6 years, as he was busy with Malayalam films which are producing great films there.
