KEAM 2026: Change of exam center allowed amid conflict in Middle East; The admit card will be released on April 8

The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) has allowed candidates to change their examination centers for the Kerala Architectural Engineering Entrance Examination in GCC.

This decision comes in light of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.As per the official announcement, many candidates who have chosen UAE – Sharjah as their examination center are facing difficulties in travelling. To help these candidates, the authorities have provided one-time facilities for modification of examination centres.Due to this review process, the release of KEAM 2026 admit card has also been postponed.

The hall ticket, which was scheduled to be released on April 1, will now be released on April 8.The examination authority also stated that this is the last opportunity to change examination centres. No further extension will be provided. Candidates are advised to complete the process within the given deadline.

Kim 2026Who can change the exam center?

CEE has identified the following categories of candidates who can opt for examination center changes:

  • Candidates who had chosen UAE earlier can now opt for a center in Kerala if they are currently in the state and unable to travel abroad
  • Students who have opted for Kerala centers but are currently in Gulf countries can switch to Gulf centres
  • Candidates who have chosen UAE can change their examination center to Kuwait
  • Candidates who have the UAE as their chosen center can choose Bahrain as well

Candidates can follow the following steps to update their exam center:

  • Visit the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in
  • Click on the link “KEAM 2026 Application”.
  • Log in using your application number and password
  • Click on the Change Center option.
  • Select your preferred exam center and submit
