A redemption story is set to be the focus of director Sean McNamara’s upcoming film, which will feature a breakout star from one of the year’s most exciting media moments.
Mike Vogel (Scarpetta), Alexa PenaVega (Spy kids), Dennis Haysbert (24(and Devon Franklin)Absolute sistas) is set to lead the cast of McNamara’s drama house. Production on the film began this week in Vancouver and will be filmed in April and May before its scheduled release on Thanksgiving.
house The film revolves around Johnny J. (Fogel), a charming con man sentenced to community service. His path changes when he bonds with an immigrant child named Gustavo, and soon Johnny must risk everything to help protect the child and create a home for him.
Lincoln Foxx, the child actor who took home a Grammy from Bad Bunny during a much-discussed moment at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, marks his acting debut with the role of Gustavo.

McNamara, known for directing films such as Soul server, King’s daughter and Reagan,helmets house From a script by Howie Klausner and Dutch Hofstetter Jr. Garrett Backstrom, David Brookwell, and Dutch Hofstetter Sr. as producers for Brookwell McNamara Entertainment.
The project is inspired by the life of Georg Müller, who was guided by his faith by caring for more than 10,000 orphans before his death in 1898.
