The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has confirmed that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) 2026 has officially begun in Saudi Arabia on Thursday. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), JEE-Main is a crucial exam for students aspiring to pursue engineering courses in India’s leading institutes, including the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

This development comes as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently canceled all board examinations in several Middle Eastern countries amid the ongoing conflict. CBSE’s move has raised speculation about whether the upcoming JEE Main exam will be held in Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia.
