Allie McLarty has been named senior vice president of global communications at Paramount Studios. Studio communications director Melissa Zuckerman made the announcement today in a memo to employees.
In her new role, McLarty will report to Head of Global Communications, Brooke Robertson, who works across Paramount’s film and television studios, as well as the emerging sports entertainment group.
McLarty previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate and Financial Communications at Paramount Global, focusing on corporate affairs, policy and legal matters. Prior to joining Paramount, McLarty spent more than a decade at Edelman Smithfield, most recently as executive vice president of special situations and co-head of U.S. operations.

I’m excited to share that Allie McLarty will move into a newly created role at Paramount Studios as Senior Vice President of Global Communications and working with Executive Vice President and Head of Global Communications Brooke Robertson. This is an exciting transition for Allie as this structure gives Brooke additional senior-level support across Paramount Pictures, Paramount Television Studios and the emerging Paramount Sports Entertainment, as well as maintaining continuity across important areas of the company as we strengthen and prioritize our content narrative. At the same time, Allie will continue to fulfill her top corporate responsibilities, such as government affairs and litigation support.
I met Allie when the PSKY Comms integration started over 18 months ago. I was immediately impressed, and later became a key member of my team that I depend on every day.
