Mariska Hargitay will make her Broadway debut Everything is great This spring.

Hargitay takes over the one-man show from Daniel Radcliffe, who is scheduled to perform his final show at the Hudson Theater on May 24. The show opens at Hargitay on May 26, and the show has now been extended until June 28.

Written by Duncan MacMillan and Johnny Donahue and directed by Jeremy Herrin, the play revolves around a person whose mother tried to die by suicide and they try to cheer her up by listing the things that make life worth living. As the main character grows up and battles depression, more cool stuff is added. The play involves a great deal of audience participation, with attendees asked to step in as characters in the individual play and shout out wonderful things written on scraps of paper.

“I read Everything is great “I cried, I rejoiced, I laughed, I cried some more, and I loved it so much,” Hargitay said. “I’m always drawn to themes of healing and renewal, especially when the journey is presented in all its complexity. It feels like an extraordinary gift to make my Broadway debut, fulfilling a lifelong dream, with a play that is so definitively life-affirming. For me, the triumph of this beautiful work—this wonderful, luminous thing—is that through a deeply personal story, we experience the universal quest to keep ourselves oriented toward light, compassion, and hope.

Hargitay is best known for her role as Olivia Benson on the NBC series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She recently made her feature film debut with the documentary My mom Jane About the life and legacy of her mother, actress Jayne Mansfield. She has also produced numerous works, including an Emmy Award-winning documentary I am the proof, nuns against the Vatican, my beautiful stutter, and Emmanuel.
