Earlier this year, Sleep Number and Travis Kelce announced the start of their strategic partnership, with the Kansas City Chiefs and three-time Super Bowl champion doubling down as the company’s newest investor. Now, the leader in smart adjustable bed space has unveiled a new line of innovative mattresses designed to meet customers’ most common sleeping needs of comfort, value and durability.
The redesigned Sleep Number portfolio includes seven total mattresses, five of which are newly launched, providing shoppers with superior personalized support and temperature benefits at multiple price points. This actually narrows down the Sleep Number mattress inventory from what was previously 12 options. Intention? To simplify the decision-making process, making it easier for customers to find the right bed for their specific needs.
As of March 2026, Sleep Number’s product offerings include three distinct collections: ComfortMode, ComfortNext and Climate. Each category offers unique benefits and targets a specific price range. Below, we analyze and compare each option.
Comfort Mood Collection
Starting at $1,599 (Queen), the ComfortMode Collection is Sleep Number’s entry point into the world of smart beds. It’s also the ideal choice for customers who want convenience and personalized customization without relying on an app. Options include Sleep Number’s ComfortMode and ComfortMode Lux, with the former starting at $1,599 and the latter at $2,099. The main differences between the two? ComfortMode Lux provides additional hip support and additional cooling capabilities. See here for a full side-by-side comparison of the two options in the newly launched ComfortMode range.
Comfort Next Collection
Starting at $2,999 (Queen), the ComfortNext collection introduces the range’s biggest innovation, with three all-new beds: ComfortNext, ComfortNext Lux and ComfortNext Ultra. The latter two, starting at $3,999 and $4,499 respectively, feature Sleep Number’s first Tri-Brid design, which combines microcoils, foam and air for long-lasting support to provide extra shoulder, knee, hip and lower back comfort. Every mattress in the ComfortNext range is controlled through the intuitive Sleep Number app. See here for a full side-by-side comparison of the three options in this all-new collection.
Climate collection
Saving the most luxurious products for last, Sleep Number’s tried-and-true climate range remains the only option on the market that offers scientifically backed temperature technology. The group’s two offerings are ClimateCool (starting at $5,174.10). $5,749) and Climate360 (starting at $9,224.10 $10,249), designed specifically for those who want the most advanced sleep experience possible.

The collection includes Climate Cool and Climate 360, both of which are 10 percent off for a limited time.
While the Climate360 offers a wider temperature range than the ClimateCool, the main differences between the two beds actually come down to their bases. The ClimateCool includes the integrated Sleep Number Base, a stylish upholstered base designed to provide a stable, flat surface for the Smart Bed. The Climate360 comes with the Sleep Number Smart Adjustable Base, which features head and foot adjustments, Partner Snore technology, under-bed lighting, foot warmers and more.
