NBC has picked up new seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago PD. and Chicago fireOr Dick Wolf One Chicago Dramas about the Windy City’s first responder heroes for the 2026-27 season.
We’ll see highly anticipated revamps of popular procedurals – all taking place in the same TV universe Chicago fire Returns in fall 2026 for the fifteenth season. Chicago PD Gets a fourteenth season and Chicago Med Returns for season 12. The trio from the Chicago series dominate NBC’s Wednesday night lineup and show no signs of slowing down with fans.
Chicago PD The film revolves around an intelligence unit on the streets of the Windy City, and stars Jason Beghe as Sergeant Hank Voight. Chicago Med Follows the life-and-death struggles of the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff at Gaffney Medical Center, and Chicago fire Centered around the heroic firefighters and paramedics of Firehouse 51.
NBC promoted One Chicago As the “most dominant scripted franchise across all of television” it handed out the latest renewals. The network added that the latest epic three-way crossover premieres on March 4, which unites the crew of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Medsaw each long-running series reach season highs for total viewers.
Chicago fire Presented by Andrea Newman, Chicago Med Has Allen MacDonald presents and Chicago PD It is run by Gwen Segan. All three shows are produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
Latest pick-up for One Chicago The series comes ahead of NBCUniversal’s presentation to TV ad buyers in May.
